Repo car auctions los angeles, Buying a car at a public auto auction – Auto Information Series

hey this robert i’m at a car auction i
Feeney’s around town before and even
when I was back in Little Rock but I
never attended one I’ve attended
different kind of auctions but it’s my
first car auction I came here mainly
because of the gentleman I met it’s here
from Chicago and we got to talking and
there’s a 1998 Volvo v70 here and we’re
going to see what it sells for and he
might purchase it and have me help them
get it restored back to state zero well
here at this auction looks like they had
about 63 vehicles and they’re sweeping
across from the west side over to the
east side of the lot and it seems like
they’re getting in about a car per
minute so the auction started at 10:00
it may likely be over by 11:00 a few of
these vehicles may even be here from
drunk driving seizures or some kind of
other seizure violations public law so
one of the cars they label them what
they are what year they are and if they
run or not and if they have any known
issues somebody just bought this Mustang
here that fired up real quick and seem
to sound good for 2,900 bucks and
they’re moving on to this Subaru so i’ma
sit here for you know a little while and
see how these auctions go maybe some
good information for you but if you look
at my s 70 restoration video you may
learn to hey if there’s a car that runs
and can drive you can go to an auction
buy and restore it regardless of what
kind of car it is as long as you have
resources to repair information and
restoration information like I provided
on it
all right so that Subaru sold for $800
Nettie’s cars arrived at the auction for
several reasons some were donated I
think some were impounded and some were
on consignment from like places where
people trade cars in most of them appear
to have the engine compartment cleaned
up and if they were able to drive them
here they drove him here but
Subaru Outback
Buying a car at a public auto auction
rough trading rough trading on it was
600 clean trade in was almost 2,000 and
the retail with an Astra was 3,800 bucks
so imagine if somebody got a salvage
title that normally takes a 20% hit on
them
the body’s not in bad shape just needs a
few minor things here’s the 98 Volvo v70
it’s a basic base trim it has an
aftermarket radio needs all of your
general maintenance servicing has a roof
rack so we know it’s leaf worth at least
$200 and it does start and proclaim to
have a steering problem so we’ll watch
this auction and seeing what it sells
for here’s the auction for the Volvo
some would get close to the speaker so
we can hear what it sails for it
475 475 500 500 500 525 525 525 550 550

750 750 775 775 can you Dumba 775 775
maybe buddy 775 them so number $750 to
number 2 you know buddy was the buyer
for 750 so we’ll start restoration on it
and in day or 2 all right so this v70
wagon sold for 750 and seems like a fair
deal to me if you feel that this
